Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited Big Winner: Slater Young

Congratulations to Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited Big Winner Slater Young. After staying inside big brother’s house for 155 days, the people have spoken and prove that a lot of them show love and support to Hot Shot Engineer of Cebu Slater Young after receiving 40.02 percent text votes from PBB followers. It is almost twice the votes received by second placer Pamu Pamorada (Kitikiti Kid of Batangas) which is 21.49 percent.

Slater Young became shocked when heard the announcement by Ms. Cookie and Ms. Lingit Tan that he is the big winner. After it sunk into him all he said is “Oh My Gosh.”

After he went out of Pinoy Big Brother Confession room with teary eye he thanked again his followers / fans. Slater Young received 2 Million Pesos cash prize, 2 Million Pesos water store franchise, Asian Tour package for two from Jag, appearance in TFC 18th anniversary even in the US, Sony Internet TV and appliance showcase from Whirpool and Fuji Denzo.

Aside from receiving the title of Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited Big Winner, Slater Young made a history of being the only male winner of PBB for its regular season.

SuperFB10 is the latest promo from Globe where prepaid subscribers will get the opportunity to update their friends on facebook for as low as P10 per day. To subscribe to this promo, just dial *143#, then follow the instruction thereafter. Promo runs from March 15 until June 30,2012. Never The Strangers – Moving Closer

I’m not supposed to write about Moving Closer on this blog but it seems that this song has inspired a lot of people in the Philippines. This is particular to those who were currently in love or is going to dedicate the song to their prospective love one in the future. The song Moving Closer was performed by Never The Strangers, a band that is based in the Philippines. At first it is hard to comprehend the meaning behind band’s name since it is uncommon, though for me the first time I read the title it sounds romantic.

From their facebook page, Never The Strangers was formerly known as Leonecast the group was formed in 2006 but due to member change they decided to change the name of the group to Never The Strangers. It signifies a new start to the band and to local music scene. With them there will be no strangers to one another in music.

Their song Moving Closer got featured as the New Close Up TV commercial theme song, since then a lot of netizens are singing lines “Inch by inch, we’re moving closer. Feels like a fairytale ending. Take my heart, this is the moment. I’m moving closer to you!”
